TEAM KC CARE Presents: Meet the Team at McCoys!

We kicked it off in style this year to get support and excitement rolling into the month leading up to AIDS Walk on April 27th, 2013 in Theis Park.

The KC CARE Clinic AIDS Walk team invited community members to join us for a KC CARE Clinic Team Meet and Greet Happy Hour on Wednesday, March 27. If you were not able to make it.... here is what you missed:


Last year, nearly 4,500 Walkers along with Sponsors and Special Events helped raise over $480,000 for the 5,700 men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Kansas City. The Kansas City CARE Clinic is one of the 4 Kansas City AIDS service organizations that benefits from the KC AIDS Walk.

We could not serve our community without the wonderful support of our volunteers. In 2012, 1,286 KC CARE Clinic volunteers donated services valued at more than $1.25 million.

• The clinic served 6,631 unduplicated client’s last year, so the AIDS Walk committee has set the challenge of matching that goal. We want to raise at least $6,631.00.
